How do you restore critical services if your primary infrastructure is rendered inoperable by a disaster? Having a duplicate set of hardware on hand could be a substantial investment that may not be practical for most organizations. Liberty offers a virtual solution with cloud recovery options in tandem with SWAN DR.

  • On Demand Virtual Recovery. Liberty provides a cloud environment available to you on demand. Liberty will keep an image of your environment and copies of your software for deployment in Liberty’s virtual environment. In the event of a disaster, the virtual environment has been pre-engineered to your specifications and your hardware infrastructure is restored virtually. SWAN back-up data is retrieved from the Avamar and your services are back-up and running.
  • Mirrored Recovery. For this option, the virtual environment is always “live” on Liberty’s virtual environment. In the event of a disaster, customers can re-direct server access to the virtual environment and update any missing data from the Avamar.

Liberty’s virtual environment runs on VMware and takes advantage of vMotion. Multiple hardware clusters are deployed to maintain high availability. Customers can choose from pre-existing packages or provide specifications and have the environment built to exact requirements.

Liberty’s basic packages include:

  • Shared Services
