Automation Alley’s 2nd Annual #HACK4DETROIT

Automation Alley’s 2nd Annual #HACK4DETROIT

For the second year, Automation Alley invites the region’s brightest and best computer programmers and coders to compete in a 24-hour event to solve a technology problem in the city by building an app for a worthy cause.  After the success of their hackathon last year and by popular demand, they have made #hack4detroit an annual event.  This June 12 – 13, Automation Alley will gather the local programmers and coders at Grand Circus Detroit to benefit the city of Detroit!

Last year, teams were challenged to build an app for Detroit Public Library and two interns from Detroit Venture Partners went home with the $5,000 grand prize. That’s correct INTERNS won the grand prize! We can’t wait to see what the coders will work on this year!

#hack4detroit will include breakfast and lunch. The cost to participate is $20. Participation is limited to 65 people. Registration closes June 5, 2015. For more information on registration, visit the automation website.
